Learn about Hunger
Everyday people living in our small towns and rural areas go hungry because they don't have enough food to eat. Second Harvest North Central Food Bank has been helping local people meet basic food needs for over 20 years.
The important thing to remember is that hunger is right here in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. It does not have a stereotype, it affects everyone.
Locally, face to face interviews were conducted with clients at the food shelves, soup kitchens and shelters we serve.
